Another new face joins the team today, as this week we introduce Michael Ejobe as Firemind’s new Senior Solutions Architect. Michael is looking forward to working on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI.

Here’s what Michael had to say when we sat down with him for our Q & A session.

Hello and welcome to the Firemind team! It’s great to have you with us. For our viewers, could you please tell us a little about yourself and your professional background?

I’m Michael Ejobe, and I’m joining the team as a Senior Solutions Architect. My background is in machine learning architecture, and I’m thrilled to bring this expertise to my role at Firemind.

How did you find out about Firemind and what made you decide to apply?

I discovered Firemind through industry connections and was immediately drawn to its pioneering work in AI. The chance to be at the forefront of the Generative AI arc was an opportunity I couldn’t resist.

What is your role at Firemind?

I am a Senior Solutions Architect and will be focusing on enhancing and optimising ML processes. I will also contribute to the innovative AI initiatives at Firemind.

Which areas of our business interested you the most?

The innovative approach to AI, especially in machine learning, caught my interest the most. I’m excited about the potential for growth and innovation in this area.

What are your main goals/objectives while working at Firemind?

My main goal is to improve and streamline our ML processes, as well as contribute to impactful projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI.

Which aspects of your role are you most excited about?

I’m most excited about working on cutting-edge AI projects and collaborating with a team that shares my passion in this field.

What do you hope to achieve within your first 12 months here?

In my first year, I aim to make significant advancements in our ML processes and contribute to many projects that will make a substantial impact on our customers businesses.

Outside of work, what do you get up to? Tell us about your hobbies.

I’m a football fan and enjoy cultural experiences like visiting museums and art exhibitions. These activities offer a refreshing balance to my technical work.

What’s your favourite song on your playlist right now?

Currently, Can We Pretend by Bill Withers is my favourite. It is perfect for unwinding.

Any fun nicknames we should know about?

I have no notable nicknames; people just call me ‘Michael’.

If you could only choose one dish to eat every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

It would have to be Pounded Yam and Egusi soup. It’s a dish I never get tired of.

What is at the top of your bucket list?

A week-long retreat with no internet and no speaking is at the top of my bucket list. The idea of total disconnection and peace is incredibly appealing.

What is one skill you would really love to learn?

I’m fascinated by the secrets to longevity. Learning how to live a longer and healthier life is a skill I’m eager to explore.

How do you wind down after work?

I usually relax by watching a mix of comedy and football clips on YouTube. This includes shows like 30 Rock, Frasier, Archer, Seinfeld, and Liverpool FC videos.
