We Welcome Ben Nichols as our new Account Manager

Join us in extending a warm Firemind welcome to another new member of our Sales team! We’re delighted to introduce you to Ben Nichols, our new Account Manager, who comes from a rich sales background, working with the likes of Sicon, Google, Conga and Salesforce.

We sat down with Ben to find out a little more about him, as well as cover our usual Q & A. Here’s what Ben had to say, as he embarks on his exciting new role in the business.

Hello and welcome Ben to the Firemind team! It’s fantastic to have you with us. For our viewers, could you please tell us a little about yourself and your professional background?

Thanks, it’s great to be here! Really excited to start working with the team. I’ve been in client facing sales roles for 12 years, all involving data/digital transformation. I initially started my career at larger organisations like Experian and Salesforce, before moving to several high growth start-ups.

How did you find out about us and what made you decide to apply for a role with Firemind?

I’ve been following Firemind for quite some time. It was actually the quality of the video content that initially caught my attention. I decided to apply for a role after seeing the incredible growth trajectory and quality of talent joining the team.

What is your role at Firemind?

I’m an Account Manager.

Which areas of our business interested you the most?

Generative AI for sure. For me, it’s not just the technology but the positive impact it can have on both businesses and consumers.

What will be your main goals/objectives whilst working at Firemind?

To work hand in hand with our customers. Success for me is identifying and delivering a significant benefit to our customers by leveraging actionable insights from their data.

Which aspects of your role are you most excited about?

Working with a like minded team. Remote work is great, but you can’t replicate the energy of being around passionate colleagues and customers.

Outside of work, what do you get up to? Tell us about your hobbies.

I’m really starting to enjoy running at the moment. Nothing seems to beat it for clearing your mind.

If you could only choose one dish to eat every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Definitely a good Roast Dinner!

What is at the top of your bucket list?

There are so many places I’d love to visit, although, at the top of my list right now is doing a physical challenge. Maybe a marathon or a long distance bike event.

Finally, what is one skill you would really love to learn?

I’d love to learn how to DJ.
