Working across Banking, Financial services, Insurance and Public Sectors, Charlie has covered a broad range of areas such as: Data & AI/ML, Digital Transformation, Cloud Adoption, SAAS delivery, IT Strategy and Security practices. He’s partnered with clients worldwide, to help them address their business challenges, and achieve successful outcomes.

Charlie’s experience and wealth of knowledge in the cloud space adds yet another string to the Firemind bow, ensuring we’re working towards providing the highest levels of service, care, and consultancy, for our ever expanding customer base.

We sat with Charlie earlier in the week to find out more about his role at Firemind and his plans for the future.

Hey Charlie, thanks for sitting down with us. First things first, how did you find out about Firemind? And what made you decide to apply for a role?

I had heard great things about Firemind from Amazon Web Services (AWS), all surrounding their GenAI capability, agility and growth curve.

What it your new role at Firemind?

I’m an Account Director for the company.

Which areas of our business interested you the most?

The projects surrounding Gen AI, as well as helping clients accelerate their data roadmap journey.

What will be your main goals/objectives whilst working at Firemind?

I’m most looking forward to winning new customers, helping those customers be successful in the cloud, and working towards Firemind becoming a No.1 AWS AI Partner.

We know you haven’t been here long, but what are some highlights of the job so far?

Still very early doors for me, but the London office space is fantastic, making commuting a breeze.

Which aspects of your role are you most excited about?

Working within an exciting space, being agile, and having the freedom to help shape strategy.

What do you hope to achieve within your first 12 months here?

New logos for Firemind, working on large AI projects, as well as helping to shape and build an excellent sales practice.

Outside of work, what do you get up to? Tell us about your hobbies.

I have young kids, so my hobbies are mainly soft play! 🤣

What’s your favourite song on your playlist right now?

No specific favourite, but anything on Radio 1 in the car.

Any fun nicknames we should know about? If Yes, what’s the backstory?

Chaz or Saunders (which comes in handy as there is already a Charlie in the business).

If you could only chose one dish to eat, every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Anything Thai. 👍

What is at the top of your bucket list?

Definitely climbing a mountain.

What is one skill you would really love to learn?

How to play the guitar.

How do you wind down after work?

A mix of Yoga, swimming, and playing with the kids. 😊
