We kicked off the year by earning AWS Premier Tier Services Partner status – a significant milestone that sets the tone for our continued leadership in GenAI and data modernisation. This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering world-class solutions, and it unlocked a new level of collaboration with AWS.

European Expansion

Following our expansion goals – and the formation of Firemind Group – we’re now live in four countries: the UK, Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. As our footprint grows, so does our team. We’re fortunate to be joined by top-tier talent across Europe, bringing deep domain knowledge, local insight, and technical excellence to help us deliver even more impactful, tailored GenAI solutions.

In H1, we had the opportunity to share our expertise at major events and launch our own.

AWS Generative AI Day

Our data team – Nour Ben Gaied, Marissa Beaty, and Khalil Adib – led an interactive session on real-world GenAI use cases, offering practical insights into what it takes to move from proof of concept to production. The session featured real case study examples from our projects, showcasing how Firemind is helping organisations operationalise GenAI with measurable business impact.

Our First Event in Finland: AI Success Summit

In May, we hosted our first-ever event in Finland – the AI Success Summit in Helsinki – led by Aleksi Lundqvist, who is driving Firemind’s work across the Finnish market.

The event brought together leaders from AWS, NVIDIA, and Firemind for a morning of practical insights and strategic discussion. From Dr. Natalia Vuori’s keynote on AI and leadership to lightning talks from Zera Ong (AWS), Jon Alsterberg (NVIDIA), and Ahmed Nuaman (Firemind), attendees left with a clear view of what it takes to launch truly successful AI projects.

Webinar: From GenAI to Agentic AI

We also hosted our first live webinar, diving into how financial services leaders are moving beyond passive GenAI tools to agentic systems that reason, act, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The session featured insights from Lucky Sharma (AWS), Anvesha Mishra (Firemind), and Ahmed Nuaman (Firemind), including a real-world case study on how Bank of Ireland saved 20% of legal team time with a custom IDP solution.

Executive Dinner – Financial Services

We were named a Top 3 Finalist for Consulting Partner of the Year at the NVIDIA Partner Awards EMEA 2025. This recognition reflects the scale and innovation of the work we’re delivering with enterprise clients – using NVIDIA infrastructure to build and deploy high-impact GenAI solutions.

Winners at the AWS GenAI Hackathon

At the AWS GenAI Premier League Hackathon, our team – Nour Ben Gaied, Cassio Milani, James Staples, and Ahmed Nuaman – won the Industry Category. The solution they developed digitised over 3,500 handwritten lab journals, enabling advanced search and reducing repeated experiments through structured, intelligent data extraction.

AWS Gamechangers: Bank of Ireland

Our project with Bank of Ireland was selected as part of the AWS Gamechangers series, which highlights how partners are using GenAI to drive real business outcomes.

The secure, scalable IDP system we built is saving the bank’s legal team 20% of their time – the equivalent of one full day per lawyer, every week.

The story is now featured on digital walls at AWS Summits across Europe and showcased on the official Gamechangers microsite.

Growing Our Solutions to Meet Enterprise GenAI Demand

Two key themes have shaped H1 for enterprise GenAI: agentic AI and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) – both focused on helping organisations move faster, integrate securely, and scale with confidence.

Our Pulse accelerator is built to meet that demand. As an MCP-native solution, it supports serverless agents and workflows that are fully aligned to governance, compliance, and integration best practices – making it easier for teams to deploy, adapt, and scale GenAI across their environments.

The Power of Three

We launched our Power of Three industry roundtables – an exclusive series bringing together Firemind, AWS, and NVIDIA for focused, hands-on discussions with select industry leaders. Our most recent session, focused on insurers, included a live demo where we built an AI agent in real time.

Last month, we hosted a networking evening at the Lord’s cricket match, where Firemind’s Shay OCarroll and Tom Willmott connected with the AWS team in a relaxed setting – a great opportunity for meaningful conversation, collaboration, and new ideas.
