Jury & Evaluation Process
All submissions are carefully reviewed by the Firemind team. Every applicant will be invited to a short discovery call to discuss their idea. The most promising concepts will then be selected for a collaborative workshop with AWS, NVIDIA, and Firemind experts to refine the solution and validate its feasibility. Following the workshop, a jury of representatives from AWS, NVIDIA, and Firemind will evaluate each project based on the following criteria:
- Clinical & operational impact – How it improves patient outcomes, diagnostics, and resource utilisation.
- Feasibility – Data access and technical readiness.
- Innovation – Novelty and creativity in applying AI within healthcare or life sciences.
- Collaboration – Willingness and readiness to co-innovate with The Power of Three during the Discovery phase.

Submission Guidelines
Your application should cover:
- Business Problem – one-sentence overview.
- How often the problem occurs.
- The aim of the AI solution.
- Amount of beneficiaries that the AI solution could help.
- The data you have available to support the use case.

What is the Firemind AI Impact Challenge?
The AI Impact Challenge is a $100,000 competition designed to accelerate bold, high-impact generative AI ideas across Retail & E-commerce, Insurance, and Healthcare & Life Sciences. It aims to help enterprises move beyond experimentation and bring production-ready GenAI solutions to life.
Why is Firemind launching this challenge now?
The first wave of GenAI pilots has shown enormous creativity but many initiatives stall before they deliver real business value. We’re launching this challenge to help organisations choose the right ideas, validate ROI early, and scale with confidence.

How does the selection process work?
- Application: Submit your idea through our online form.
- Discovery Call: All submissions will receive a short call with the Firemind team.
- Workshops: Selected concepts will join a co-innovation workshop with AWS, NVIDIA, and
Firemind experts. - Jury Evaluation: A joint panel from AWS, NVIDIA, and Firemind will assess impact, feasibility, innovation, and collaboration potential.
- Funding & Support: The most promising ideas will receive funding, cloud resources, and technical support to move into production.

Even non-winning submissions benefit from expert evaluation and visibility into their idea’s feasibility, impact potential, and path to realisation. Additionally, a submission automatically grants you 300 credits on AWS (per company) There’s nothing to lose—every participant gains insight and exposure.

How will my idea be treated after submission?
All submissions are treated as confidential and shared only with Firemind, AWS, and NVIDIA for evaluation purposes. No information will be disclosed externally without the applicant’s consent.
